Fail poached fish and aioli

I was trying poached fish today. I picked up hake. Bad choice. Tastes weird, metallic even.

My second attempt at mayonnaise (aioli). Still fail. I can't seem to get it.  Must be really really patient I suspect.

At least my mashed potato was decent.
